Hi, all.
My name is Ashley, and I am in my last semester in the Professional Writing program at ODU. I am interested in learning more about the different uses of social software. As a grassroots campaign coordinator at PETA, I work with our marketing department to maximize outreach efforts via Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, and other means, but I don’t use these tools directly. I want to get a better grasp on both the “how” and the “why” of the most widely used social networking tools on the internet in hopes of becoming a participant, not just an onlooker.
